Information about June 2024 Recitals

It is important to remember that purchasing a costume does not guarantee a dancer will perform in recitals. They must attend classes regularly throughout the Spring Semester in order to be prepared to perform onstage in June. Dance, like sports, is a team activity. Regular attendance and practice help everyone in the class to shine on recital day!

On the day of your dancer's performance, please drop them off at Room 202 (not at the theater). See map to drop-off location here.

Recitals 2024 will air LIVE on our YouTube channel @SDCDA for those unable to attend the show in person. Be sure to subscribe!

Purchase access to download a 4K video recording of all recital shows at Purchase video access here. Purchase and download before September 30, 2024 for only $25. Shows will be posted for viewing within a week after the performance.

Tickets are on sale NOW for the performances. Purchase tickets here. There are 10 performances, so please make sure you purchase tickets to the correct performance!

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Dress Rehearsals and performances take place at the Casa del Prado Theater in Balboa Park.
