Recitals 2025 Performance Information coming soon!

Costume ordering for June 2025 Recitals:

Costumes for recitals average anywhere from $50 - $80 each and are purchased from companies that professionally make them. These companies are also providing costumes for other dance studios throughout the United States who have their recitals about the same time of year as us. It is of utmost importance that our costume orders are placed early enough to get all of the costumes back in time for dress rehearsals/recitals. Depending on the costume style, quantity and sizes ordered, some costumes come in sooner than others, but last year we had costumes that were ordered in January that did not arrive until beginning of June! In an effort to avoid that again this year, costume orders will need to be placed by January 6, 2025 before 2pm with all costume prices increasing by $10 after this date and time. The price increase covers the additional costs associated with placing a second and smaller costume order.

Remember to register for both the class and the costume at SDRecConnect beginning December 14 at 10am. Each class has a specific costume associated with it- follow the link in the class description to the costume for that class. Please note that some classes have a different costume for boys/males then for girls/women.

It is important to remember that purchasing a costume does not guarantee a dancer will perform in recitals. They must attend classes regularly throughout the Spring Semester in order to be prepared to perform onstage in June. Dance, like sports, is a team activity. Regular attendance and practice help everyone in the class to shine on recital day!

We are currently at work putting the Dress rehearsal and performance schedule for 2025 recitals together. We should have all that information completed and uploaded by mid-April, 2025.
